What’s My Angle? --http://www.amblesideprimary.com/ambleweb/mentalmaths/protractor.html The series of activities at this site demonstrate the use of protractors and the correct measurement of angles. If your school has an interactive whiteboard, this site would be a great one to use with students learning about angles, measurements and protractors.
Hippo Campus -- http://www.hippocampus.org This site is intended as a homework helper site for students—I am really impressed by the offerings for algebra and calculus. Students can select their course, textbook, and the page number they need assistance with and faster than you can say, “HippoCampus” an on-line tutoring session begins walking students through interactive examples that align with the lesson from their textbook. (government, biology, environmental science, physics, religion and US history are also covered at this site)
Web Math – http://www.webmath.com A great resource for students, this interactive web site gives step by step instructions for the problems that are submitted. Sections include: math for everyone, general math, K-8 math, algebra, plots & geometry, trig & calculus and others too numerous to mention. If you are looking for a new web site to try, this is one that was new to me.
